Description
Isabelle and Jean Jacques, the owners, are happy to welcome you to their cottage. L'escale du bon temps, located on the peninsula of St Jacut de la mer, is a charming house in the heart of a residence. The sea and the beach are only 400m away and there are many walks and hikes nearby. For the more athletic, the cottage is located near the tennis court. Nautical activities are also possible nearby, to try your hand at sailing, kite surfing or diving. Children will be tempted by a game of mini golf, it is only 300m from the cottage. Don't miss a trip to the seaside resorts of St Cast le Guildo, Dinard and St Lunaire to admire the very special color of the water on the Emerald Coast. Cap Fréhel and its Fort La Latte as well as the Corsair city of St Malo are 22km away. The Mont Saint Michel at 70km.
Your vacation rental, adjoining another house, includes on the ground floor: an equipped kitchen open to a living room with access to the terrace and the garden, a separate toilet and a garage. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms (2 x 2 x 90cm beds + 1 x 160cm bed), a shower room with WC. Terrace of 20 m² and private garden of 300m². Parking possible in the driveway of the house or in front of the house.

Dinan
Dinan in Brittany is a charming riverside town, full of medieval history, with a 13th century castle and ramparts that encircle this well-preserved sanctuary where time has stood still.
Wander through Dinan's narrow cobbled streets, lined with pretty half-timber houses, and discover the Flamboyant Gothic St Malo church, the Basilica of St Saveur and the 40m high Tour de l'Horloge (clock tower). Climb the 158 steps to the top for some fantastic views of the town and surrounding area. For even better views, why not take a walk along the ramparts, which, at nearly 2.7km long, are the oldest and most impressive in Brittany? In July the Fête des Remparts (Feast of the Ramparts) takes place, a marvellous festival recreating life in medieval times with street celebrations, a market and a jousting tournament and many people dressed in medieval costume. The Château de Dinan is now a museum dedicated to the town's history and Dinan's famous hero, Bertrand du Guesclin, a Breton knight who became a military commander during the Hundred Years' War is remembered with 4 different memorials across the town. In 1357 the English laid seige to the town but it resisted. When Thomas Canterbury kidnapped Guesclin's brother he settled the matter by single combat in the Place Champs Clos opposite the Place Dugesclin, wich is named after him and where today you will find the town market on a Thursday morning.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à St Jacut. Le gite est très confortable, bien équipé, bien situé au coeur de cette belle région. Nous remercions une nouvelle fois Mr et Mme SAMSON pour leur accueil et leurs conseils sur les bonnes adresses. Nous recommandons vivement cette location de vacance.

La maison de vacances était très confortable, jolie et propre. Dès le début, nous nous y sommes sentis très à l'aise! La cuisine était particulièrement bien équipée! Nous aimions aussi passer du temps dans le jardin, lire sur les chaises longues et pouvoir manger et jouer à la grande table. Les propriétaires de la maison de vacances étaient très sympathiques et nous ont accueillis avec de délicieuses crêpes et de délicieux légumes. Ils nous ont proposé de nombreuses excursions charmantes, rapidement accessibles: marchés colorés, fête des Remparts, randonnées côtières à travers les paysages du Cap Erquy , restaurants, villes portuaires charmantes. Nous sommes impatients de revenir!

Emplacement idéal à St Jacut, pas besoin de voiture pour aller au centre du village, à la plage ou chercher ses fruits de mer. Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil avec de précieux conseils avec des attentions délicieuses. La maison est spacieuse, joliment décorée et très propre. Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de notre passage.
