Description
A super, new, eco-friendly gite in a quiet setting near the sea, 500m from Dahouêt harbour and lake. The light, well-appointed, south-facing house has been built using healthy, sustainable materials to blend in perfectly with the surroundings and features plants requiring little water, a rainwater collection system and wood-burning heating system. In addition, guests can relax in the infra-red sauna after visiting the beautiful Côtes de Penthièvre. The gite is close to Val André beach, watersports, horse-riding, golf course and a good selection of cycling and walking paths including the GR34 coastal hiking path towards Cap Fréhel or Saint-Brieuc. There is a flat area in the garden for boules and molky, plus 3 bikes to borrow.
A single-storey gite : Large lounge-diner with wood pellet stove and open-plan kitchen. Bedroom 1 : double bed. Large shower room with WC, walk-in shower, double wash basin and infra-red sauna. All suitable for guests with limited mobility. Utility room. Small shower room with WC. 4 steps up to Bedroom 2 : twin beds (or super king-size bed). Bedroom 3 : super king-size bed. Reading lounge between the 2 bedrooms. Baby equipment. Price includes all charges (water, electricity, wood pellets). All linen provided. Beds made on arrival. Enclosed grounds (1250m²) with courtyard, garden and large, south-facing, decked patio (46m²).

Bay of St-Brieuc
Located between Armor and Argoat, between the land and the sea, Saint-Brieuc is the capital of the Côtes d'Armor department.
The town is an unmissable crossroads among the attractions of northern Britanny-Paimpol and the isle of Bréhat, Fréhel cape,all the small, colourful towns and villages in the back-country such as Pontrieux, Quintin, Moncontour and the artistic and historical centre of Dinan.
The three valleys (Gouédic, Gouët and Douvenant), give a rhythmic structure to the town. The environment is privileged, opening onto the remarkable bay - which has the fifth highest tides in the world.
The bay has many paths and pathways, and many more detours from the beaten tracks where walkers can discover the back country of this fascinating spot. La maison est irreprochable en tout point : spacieuse, confortable, très bien équipée. Très propre également, c'est tout simplement ma meilleure experience de location de vacances. Très bien située pour se balader à pied sur le sentier des douaniers, plages. On bénéficie d'un calme absolu très apreciable pour se ressourcer. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. On reviendra certainement.

Maison bioclimatique récente très bien pensée Agréable de voir qu'en novembre on peut se passer de chauffage avec quelques heures d'ensoleillement par jour. Sinon très agréable car lits prêts, fond d'épicerie, vélos ....
