Description
Independent gîte, full of charm and original with its old bread oven. Located in the countryside in the Pays de Loudéac, 1.5 km from the town and 10 km from Loudéac. Flower garden. Numerous hiking, horse riding and mountain bike trails depart from the gîte in the pretty Lié valley. Close to the medieval town of Moncontour classified as a "Village of France", the church of the old town and Langast (19th century frescoes). Numerous shops, cinema and kayak base as well as mountain bike rentals. Its central location will allow you to discover Brittany from north to south and from east to west very easily.
Your vacation rental comprises on the ground floor: living room, kitchen area and lounge area. Floor: 1 very spacious bedroom (1 double bed, 1 single bed), small bathroom with shower. Separate WC. Lawn. Internet access possible with the owner. Possibility of making a fire in winter.

Bay of St-Brieuc
Located between Armor and Argoat, between the land and the sea, Saint-Brieuc is the capital of the Côtes d'Armor department.
The town is an unmissable crossroads among the attractions of northern Britanny-Paimpol and the isle of Bréhat, Fréhel cape,all the small, colourful towns and villages in the back-country such as Pontrieux, Quintin, Moncontour and the artistic and historical centre of Dinan.
The three valleys (Gouédic, Gouët and Douvenant), give a rhythmic structure to the town. The environment is privileged, opening onto the remarkable bay - which has the fifth highest tides in the world.
The bay has many paths and pathways, and many more detours from the beaten tracks where walkers can discover the back country of this fascinating spot. Walking through the bushy countryside you'll discover a new view and pleasure - just take your time, nobody here is in a hurry, and you'll find some of the surprises we have waiting for you!

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans ce charmant gîte aménagé dans un ancien four à pain et le nom de ce dernier lui convient tout à fait ! Au calme au centre de la Bretagne, parfait pour des vacances apaisantes où l'on peut à la fois facilement bouger (plage, forêt et patrimoine culturel très proches) et en même temps se reposer dans un cadre paisible. M. Lucas a été adorable avec nous, de bon conseil, et nous avons adoré l'entendre parler avec passion de son histoire, celle de la Bretagne ainsi que celle du gîte ! Nous recommandons ce dernier !

Wer einfach mal ausspannen will, der ist hier richtig. Die klassischen Sehenswürdigkeit der Bretagne sind im Schnitt 100 km entfernt. Das Häuschen stammt von 1640! Damals gab es noch kein Internet (gibt auch jetzt noch kein WLan ).Das Wohnzimmer mit integrierter Küchenzeile hat einen speziellen Charme - ebenso das Schlafzimmer, das man über eine schmale Holztreppe erreicht. Die Küchenzeile ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Bad und Toilette in der oberen Etage sind sehr klein/ eng - definitiv nicht geeignet für korpulente Personen. Der Vermieter - ein vitaler 92 jg ist ausgesprochen liebenswürdig. Er wohnt gegenüber. Seine Tochter spricht Deutsch und Englisch. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Die « klassischen und hoch besichtigten » Sehenswürdigkeit der Bretagne sind im Schnitt zwar 100 km entfernt aber die Bretonische Wunderschöne NordKüste ( Cap Fréhel , Cap D’Erquy) ist nur 40- 60km weit weg mit vielen ruhigen Orten zu entdecken Und die Südliche Küste genauso nah. In der Tat, liegt das Haüschen in der Mitte der Bretagne ! Halb Weg zwischen Brest und Rennes. Die Holztreppe zum Schlafzimmer ist korrect und süss. Es stimmt dass das Bad uns Toilette in der Oberen Etage nicht für korpulente Personen geeignet ist
