An attractive, stone-built house dating from the early 1900s, close to the owners’ home in a hamlet near the banks of the Rance and footpaths. It has 3 bedrooms to sleep a total of 6 people. The nearby beach and slipway at Mordreuc (1km) not only offer magnificent panoramic views of the Rance and the medieval castle of Péhou, they are also home to the famous seal L9 ! Other absolute musts include the tidal mills at Le Prat and Mordreuc, the floral village of La Chapelle and its old houses and La Ville Ger, a natural attraction. St Malo and Dinard 20km. Dinan 10km. Mont-Saint-Michel and Rennes 50km.

Dinan
Dinan in Brittany is a charming riverside town, full of medieval history, with a 13th century castle and ramparts that encircle this well-preserved sanctuary where time has stood still.
Wander through Dinan's narrow cobbled streets, lined with pretty half-timber houses, and discover the Flamboyant Gothic St Malo church, the Basilica of St Saveur and the 40m high Tour de l'Horloge (clock tower). Climb the 158 steps to the top for some fantastic views of the town and surrounding area. For even better views, why not take a walk along the ramparts, which, at nearly 2.7km long, are the oldest and most impressive in Brittany? In July the Fête des Remparts (Feast of the Ramparts) takes place, a marvellous festival recreating life in medieval times with street celebrations, a market and a jousting tournament and many people dressed in medieval costume. The Château de Dinan is now a museum dedicated to the town's history and Dinan's famous hero, Bertrand du Guesclin, a Breton knight who became a military commander during the Hundred Years' War is remembered with 4 different memorials across the town. In 1357 the English laid seige to the town but it resisted. When Thomas Canterbury kidnapped Guesclin's brother he settled the matter by single combat in the Place Champs Clos opposite the Place Dugesclin, wich is named after him and where today you will find the town market on a Thursday morning.

Ce gîte est très bien situé, entre Dinan et St Malo, idéal pour une découverte de la région sans passer son temps sur les routes le hameau de « La Chapelle Mordreuc», où il est situé vaut à lui seul le détour, avec ses superbes petites balades, pleines de surprises, aux abords de la Rance. Calme, reposant à souhait, tenu par des hôtes au top, il est d’un excellent rapport qualité /prixje recommande sans hésiter. Merci Virginie et ravie de vous avoir connue.

Logement agréable et spacieux. Bien situé pour se balader en bord de Rance. Non loin de Dinan ou Saint-Malo pour les plus traditionnels. Bel accueil des hôtes. La literie fonction des goûts de chacun peut être à revoir mais n’empêche en rien de passer un excellent séjour.

Accueil exceptionnel des propriétaires plein de gentillesses pour nous mettre à l'aise. ils nous ont fait partager leur amour de la région et leur conseils, toujours avisés, nous ont beaucoup aider dans notre découverte de cette magnifique région. le gîte est parfaitement situé entre St Malo, Mont St Michel, Dinan.. Il est au calme, reposant et très bien équipé. Vraiment nous le recommandons sans détour. Merci
